Washington, Dec 22 (PTI) With countries like India and China fast catching up, US President Barack Obama asked children to concentrate on studies in particular mathematics.
"I want you guys to read and hit the books and do your math, because that is really what's going to determine how you do in the future," Obama told a group of 27 children in the age group of 6-11 of the Boys and Girls Club.
"There's nothing wrong with having fun and fooling around and playing sports and listening to rap music and all that stuff," he said.
"That's the most important thing you can do," Obama said in his concluding remarks after he read the award winning book Polar Express to these children who were excited to see the President.
